- Meet quality benchmarking criteria as an Accredited Restaurant. The Restaurant Accreditation program improves and maintains the level of professionalism in the industry and its personnel. - Participate in the annual Savour Australia™ Restaurant & Catering Awards for Excellence - the most dependable and authoritative guide to Australia's best restaurants. With more than 500 trained judges and 2500+ entrants, the Savour Australia™ Restaurant & Catering Awards for Excellence set the national benchmark. They are the most important and respected industry awards, specifically designed to objectively recognise and promote industry best practice. Details about finalists and winners are annually updated on individual listings on www.restaurant.org.au
- Receive an objective Savour Australia™ 'plate' Rating out of a total of 5. These are published on www.restaurant.org.au and promoted in the media and within participating businesses from November each year. The Savour Australia ratings are one to five icons out of a possible five, mathematically derived from the scores received by businesses judged in the Savour Australia™ Restaurant & Catering Awards for Excellence (at the regional and state level).
